"That would be interesting I am a big UKIP fan" Not too hard to figure it out LOL And that's why the whole Euronews club of leftist loons hate and then spam your comments, right? LOL Not that you should give a damn, right? LOL I don't, and they always come after me with a vengeance... LOL Pretty often I get to watch Nigel Farage and Daniel Hannan on Fox News, personally I don't know the major differences btwn UKIP and David Cameron's Conservatives. Left can easily take advantage of the split.

Continued... By GR I mean Greece, UK is United Kingdom or GB (Great Britain), right? Nigel Farage was on Fox News couple of days ago, maybe I can find the link.

UKIP vs Conservatives, I think I know what you're talking about. Up to 10 years ago they were two center-right parties in Canada, Reform Party (mostly in the West), pretty much identical with UKIP, and Progressive-Conservative in Ontario and Eastern Canada, liberals used the split to win lots of elections UNTIL current PM Stephen Harper decided to MERGE both parties in just one called Conservative Party but based on the Reform Party platform. He's been our PM since '06 until at least '15.

Sorry, you can't compare UK with CY, it's like officially allowing a heavyweight pro-boxer taking on a superlight one, right? UK can easily (financially & economically) survive on its own on the global market like Germany, JPN, SKorea, Canada or USA, when little nations like CY with almost nothing to offer to the outside world will shortly collapse for good w/o a strong financial help coming from the powerful nations and banks. CY is the one who badly needs EU and not the other way around.

"CY was doing OK on its own until the EU came along" You might be right, I don't live in EU so I'd look like a damn loser to analyse life in EU, BUT nobody forced CY to get into EUnion in '04 and EUZone in '08, right? and freely accepting the exchange rate btwn their pound and euro PLUS all the EU laws and regulations that each EU member MUST accept and abide-by for as long as their are still members, right? Same for GR as well, right? Therefore, if they were doing well, why the need to join EU?
