@199gSauerkraut It started in 1945, it's called SOCIALISM, 2 generations of greeks don't know anything else but government social entitlements, great pension, great salaries, great paid vacations, great paid sick days, working 12 months but paid for 13, etc., all paid by the greek gov until they ran out of money, banks didn't wanna lend them any more money, so... Too bad Germany and other EU countries give their own money, taxpayers money, to rescue SOCIALISM, personally I really HATE that.

@prjerry7 "they need to learn how to live by their means," IMPOSSIBLE, that's how (it's called SOCIALISM) Greece has been since 1945, two generations of greeks strongly depending on very large gov social entitlements, they cannot change overnight, maybe in 30-50 years but now? IMPOSSIBLE, they cannot live w/o gov taking care of them, is in their blood, all they want is Greece remain the same nanny state it's been since 1945, that's it.

Me: self-employed with my own business, pay for my PRIVATE healthcare insurance, pay for my kids university education, no part of any union ever (and I'm a strongly anti-union individual), have zero pension paid by the gov, I pay for my own vacations, nothing paid by any government, comprende amigo?
