So CDA, a very WESTERN country, has opened its arms to you and in return you start spewing anti-West hatred, and you wonder why white ppl turn against ILLEGAL immigrants from all the countries you just mentioned except Cubans, the only ones they truly deserve to have a decent life in the West. PPL like me donated OUR money when our govs asked us in order to help you poor ppl in Haiti thru Red Cross, interesting to know how Haitian truly "thank" to West for what we've done for YOU.

In CDA we've had a VERY CONSERVATIVE federal gov for over 6 years now (and since last May in a pretty strong majority in Parliament) and under this gov FOREIGN investment has flourished a lot especially in OIL industry also free trade works extremely well for us CDNs, full of American supermarkets in TO, thousands of American businesses setting up shop in CDA, all b/c of ZERO duty taxes, all together free market competition is very good for ordinary consumers, in CDA at least.

Free Trade is good when trade partners (governments of course) don't start unilaterally imposing their own restrictions, so there is no longer free trade, most of those local restrictions are due to the social-political climate in their countries, for instance unions are the back-bone of ANY left-wing gov, so if u have a such left-wing gov in power and local unions want foreign companies (investment) 2 be charged (taxes) on higher rates or even nationalize it, u get the Argentinian case, right?

Also we all should make a clear difference btwn traditional capitalism when businesses look after their own ppl (employees AND shareholders) and chronic capitalism (I personally HATE that) when banks or private businesses go to the gov and ask for damn bailouts claiming they are too big to fail so Armageddon would come if GM (2009 case) goes bankrupt.
