RO is in NATO and for the first time since 1945 out of SOVIET/Russia influence because of GEORGE W BUSH who STRONGLY pushed for RO & BG to be admitted into NATO despite the strong OPPOSTION directly coming from Putin, w/o America's final approval no country becomes part of NATO. And I wish you best of luck with your socialized highly-taxed universal healthcare kind of society. Glad I don't live there.

As per EU strict rules & regulations, VAT (sales tax) cannot be below 15% no matter how rich or poor that country is, Denmark & Sweden: 25%, Germany & France: 19%, so it's not about GDP. UNIVERSAL healthcare is extremely costly, system will immediately collapse w/o very high-taxes of ANY kind. CDA/USA: most of the PRIVATE employers pay for full health benefits OR for ~$100/month free to buy your own PRIVATE medical insurance.

  3. YES, PRIVATE business as per PRIVATE medical insurance either paid by you or by the company you work for. In CDA 60% of our heathcare system is "free", rest is paid out of our own pockets, that's why our taxes are way lower than in EU, our govt does not spend too much on large social programs otherwise extremely popular everywhere in EU, only 5% VAT in CDA, how much in RO? But hey, if you're in love with socialized healthcare, be my guest, personally I HATE IT.
