I guess you've never been in North America, over here each canadian province or territory and each american state with its own plates, its own motto, and on top of that each province or state offers dozens of choices of different plates in all colors and graphics, would you like to know how many colorful plates I get to see on a simple drive from Toronto to Florida? One plate for pretty much everybody: EXTREMELY BORING, my friend.

Each EU country should put a wording (a phrase) on its LPs, for Ontario, Canada is YOURS TO DISCOVER, Florida: THE SUNSHINE STATE, etc., also in Ontario we are allowed to order any combination of numbers and/or characters of a total of 8, called Personalized Plates, for instance LOVELIFE or BADBOY4U, as long as no racist, sexist, trivial, etc. meaning, anything up to 8 characters is LEGAL on Ontario Plates. Also graphics on the very same plates. Anybody against that in EU?
