Apparently for undisclosed reasons, RCMP Commissioner is strongly against allowing CBSA start patrolling the Canadian side of the border between ports of entry similar to US CBP Border Patrol agents separate from US Customs patrolling the American side of the MX-US border between points of entry! Regardless, as long as catch-and-RELEASE into the country instead of catch-and-DEPORT out of the country is still Liberal Govt's border policy, nothing's gonna change soon!
