  1. The hype is steel there. Good for you. For me, I do not trust aus8 for a survival knife, there are inox steels that are good, (cpm 3v. M390 or even S35VN) but twice this price. For a reason. In this price range, I’ll go coated 1095. And something lighter, more than 300ish g is crazy ! (esee 5, we see you) I understand that it needed that much aus8 to not have something that bends on a steak though...
