  1. OK they didn't have the means or the know how. It stands to reason they didn't have the means because they didn't have the know how. They had no plans for uranium enrichment, they didn't know how to build a plutonium producing reactor. Any designs purported to have been German nuclear weapons designs would never have worked. They never conducted any testing of designs. Satisfied now, you are wrong :) They never knew how.

  3. NO through years or reading about it. Pretty much any historian who has bothered to research it knows the Germans were never close to an atomic bomb. They didn't have a plutonium producing reactor nor the means to enrich uranium above the 85% U238 concentrations they needed to weaponize it. SO no they were not even close, despite what crack pot conspiracy theorists think :)

  4. No he and others wrote a letter stating the possibility of creating and atomic bomb and urging the Allies to build one before the Germans did. He had no idea of any progress the Germans had made. Knowing that is is possible to split an atom is light years away from the knowledge of how to build a nuclear weapon.

  6. BULLSHIT the British are incredibly biased. BBC was a propaganda mouth piece in WWII. Also many countries have shown respect to generals from enemy countries.

  7. Actually most of the scientists working on the Manhattan Project were not German. German scientists were no more clever than those from any other country, this can be seen as to how far behind in nuclear research they were.

  8. I have and Speer never said that to Hitler. Do you actually read factual history or just read conspiracy BS. There is ZERO proof that the Germans had any ability to build an atomic weapon. Believe what you want, you obviously don't ground your beliefs in anything factual.
