  1. But then all you do is incentivize higher prices (like atm eggs) for the lack of competition. And the average working family gets poorer because they have to cover the higher profits and import tariffs. And the same happens in the exporting country when they retaliate. Essentially, each country is using their own working population, people who already own very little, to fight out an economic war. They are betting on whose population can take the most hits before blacking out. This is class warfare in plain sight.
