  2.  @treali  this will definitely be the trajectory when AI continues to serve the capitalists interests of a selected few. But the last word on whether true AGI will ever be possible has not yet been spoken. To indulge in fatalism now would be foolish and unnecessary and the best chance we stand is if AI remains transparent in the open with real democratic agency.

  3. @Nathan Abbott sure, but we are discussing artificial intelligence now and here and how AI can evolve under democratic supervision and not as a vulgar tool to make millions redundant. Whether or not the existence of biological brains prove artificial GI remains to be seen. And possibility doesn't include feasibility.
