@starwars45066 exactly how east "germans" got a free ride into the well- fare system without contributing nothing. And as a gesture of appreciation innocent people who have been contributing for decades had to die (NSU, Hoyerswerda). Not to mention the financial hit, that lots of regions in the West were forced to take to rebuild the ruins in the East. But again, with the same gesture of ignorance, the AfD started pointing at cities like Duisburg. So, I'd rather have hard working people from West Africa here instead of some depressed whining fascists from the east.

After the influx of “skilled labor” in 2015 Germany is no longer a safe country Sorry, but that is utter none-sense. It is extremely safe to live here and crime rates are low and even falling. You are more likely to be killed or injured on the Autobahn 😂

@avatar9520202 Sure, if you have made up your mind, I can't help it, and yes, 2015 was a catastrophic failure. But to consider it as the new norm would be a gross misrepresentation. It is a safe place. Of course, people who are anti-immigrants will deeply remember crimes committed by non-Germans. That's how things go. However, to shed some light since you mentioned Eastern Europe, many Germans hold racist sentiments towards Eastern Europeans, and this has been the case long before 2015, as you can imagine. So, this place is definitely not the most welcoming for anyone, but safety isn't a factor. Your skin color, personal attitude, socioeconomic status, profession, and way of living will greatly influence your experience in this country. Some people love being here, others regret it.

Usually unskilled workers with rural lifestyle tend to have many children (ample space and uncertain future). In highly developed countries however the pressure on having less children is high (cost of living, dense city housing, better education for women). There's a sharp drop in birth rates from 6 to 1-2 children / woman within 2-3 generations of migrants. That is why the German-Turkish population is aging as well.
