  1. +Eternal Apostate It's all history, during the cold war, Algeria, then backed by the udssr, wanted to extent its territories to the Atlantic shore line, mainly for shipping off gas and oil and for geostrategic reasons. The USA, who were supporting the Moroccan monarchy, wouldn't allow this at any cost. So the situation today is the result of that proxy war. The other reason of course is Bou Craa. It has the world largest phosphate mines. The land may seem uninhabitable from far but it's actually worth billions. After the Spaniards left the Sahara there were only 2 outcomes, either the US (Morocco) got hold of the Western Sahara or Russia (Algeria) did. There has never been a realistic option for an independent Sahrawi state. They are just being played. And even here in this video Vice itselve plays its part in an ongoing media battle between Algeria and Morocco. Dat ass though! :)
