  2. When VW, BMW, Mercedes, and Audi were caught cheating with their diesel engines, they basically just got a slap on the wrist. Now, the same folks who tried to cover up for those car companies are going after the protesters. So yeah, it's about law and order, but it also seems like the government's got the back of these German auto giants, too.
