  3. I travelled around Australia during my gap year in the 1980s. It seemed a wonderful, relaxed, sunny country. A little wokery seemed to be peeping through in Sydney. From Britain I have watched in horror as Australia collapsed into craven wokery as well as a brutal and unforgiving Covid regime. I would never want to step back into that country, now. I'd rather be over-taxed and weather the odd gloomy day than be set on by a pack of hyenas for not wearing a mask. 😷
