  1. Our country is the best by default because most of everywhere else is ran by dictators or communist regimes. Now to say we should be proud of our history is a whole other thing when you look at the way this country treated black people from them being slaves all the way to the civil rights movement and segregation , till modern day with the mass incarceration and jails are filled with mostly black and brown people. It’s one thing to be proud to be American but don’t act like this country is perfect and it’s history is something to be proud of and just ignore the atrocities that this country has done to its people
