@jessicasmith6056 and your "republic" is an Electoral college of fake elections rule that's stops nothing linked to a "mob rule"... you don't get to pretend that giving more votes to people that live where more people vote your way has ANYTHING to do with "mob rule"... it has everything to do with fake elections though.

campaign strategists from the repub party don't want them voting because jailing those people was partly to help them during elections and campaign strategists from the corporate dems don't want to go against that because they think they'd lose votes.

@darren871 "Excuse me for not thinking that a murderer or rapist is going to vote in a way that betters society"... those are the minority in prison populations... btw, there are murderers and rapists in the general population too... should everybody lose it's voting rights then?
