  1. no unity possible coming as the left is the good and the rest is bad, immoral etc. Better to come as a progressive and spend your capital defending policies instead of wasting half of it on tribalism. Politicians would do that if they cared about results... but they don't. They care about being elected and selling books to their supporters.

  2. the "left" fails because it behaves like the left instead of a progressive. UBI is the way and yet it's all about old "left" programs that are totally anathema to the right while being unadapted to the era. I don't want to hear about the "left" anymore. I want to hear about progress... also, progress doesn't need to be anathema to a side.
