  2. they massively used conscripts to invade Ukraine, inside Ukraine, before it was even legal in Russian law to do so. Now that it is legal since they declared a good chunk of Ukraine, including territory they don't control, to be part of Russia, there is exactly zero chances those conscripts won't be used as canon fodder like the rest were. The only way to stop that would be to have duma and putin and his entourage familes join the conscripts.
