  15. I wouldn’t rush it. The show dipped in animation quality badly season after season and even writing quality a bit near end. The way Netflix handled Tekken was also unfortunate because there was some great ideas there but very little fighting and unusual storytelling.

When those seasons came out waves of people on social media noted it and also it actually had to rely on a new animation format while increasing the length of still convos. You can actually take a timer and count action frames vs cheap frames per season. If you can’t see that, then I think you might have a sensory issue and should consider seeing a doctor.

  20.  @Gods-bad-boy  Persoanlly I like anime like Samurai Champloo, Space Dandy, Akira, Perfect Blue, Spirited Away, Devilman Crybaby, Redline, Shiki, etc. Most people either like shonen stuff (Naruto, DBZ) which is meant for kids or edgelord trash (ie Attack On Titan). Sometimes edgelord trash can be OK (ie Death Note) but they age bad as you mature and wisen up.

  36.  @quickpawmaud  I think you’re totally overweighting animation vs books. Books have insanely complex stuff that animation couldn’t even do. They’re all different mediums that are hard to adapt live action. I think what you’re saying is a ridiculously close minded approach. It can be done but just needs a real director. People said a video game adaption couldn’t be decent ever even animated then Castlevania happened. It happens if only enough passion and technical effort is put into it. Instead this feels like a cheap East Asian film which is why it sucks.

  45.  @fadel3d  yes but also One Piece anime sucks too if you’re above the age of 16. It’s got a savage marketing team so it’s tricked a bunch of people into liking it. Bunch of internet celebs pretend to like it too because they get the merch/ad deals with the company.
