  5. I hate when people say no one has died from weed or overdosed. Weed is great but I’ve seen people smoke stupid dangerously saying the same thing. You can do too much of anything (ie even water) and even if you don’t you can do it while driving and it’s dangerous (seen it happen personally). We should be doing both legalizing it and educating people on it.

You’re blaming them as if this will increase your tax bracket directly. There’s a good chance government won’t do much but they very much have the right to ask their government for help as a citizen.

  11.  @blackcloud415  Don’t get me wrong. The “defund the police” saying is a simplified one but a catchy one. In reality to solve this problem with involve a lot of work but the biggest problem is political corruption isn’t punished and good cop behavior isn’t rewarded. These two forever elements prevent any nuanced changes in process and structure, so you hit them where it hurts and reduce funding. That way things may change. When things look better, then slowly increase funds.

  16. Respect to essential works but if you can work remote, then you should. It’s better for environment, better for mental health, less taxes needed for city/street upkeep, low cost homes can be sold in lower cost areas, new job opportunities arise for those who couldn’t get it before, etc. If you can get past the jealousy, there’s a huge benefit for many people.
