@BlahVideosBlahBlah No, The "owner class" cant do anything without the backing of government. Its government that has all the power to control peoples lives, not the rich. The rich literally only have as much power as you give them in the form of money which is limit. The government literally can make the laws and control what people are allowed to do and can print as much money as they need. I hope you realize that that is a massive dispersity on power.

Make no mistake, US citizens do not want to be the worlds police. We dont like paying for everyone elses security.

@jefferyroy2566 Literally all of them. The whole reason we have a problem with political elites at all is because politics makes them elites in the first place. They are suppose to serve us not the other way around. The government shouldn't have ANYWHERE NEAR the kind of power it does currently to control peoples lives but people like you are the ones who gave them this power in your attempt to curtail the rich. Ironically making the rich more of a problem by your standard because you made lobbying more effective by giving the political elites more power.

 @TARS.. Lobbying would be as useless as it was in the past if the government didnt have the power it did. But you people like giving all their agency to the government, thus here we are.
