Thinks that the founding fathers would not be able to account for or even imagine that weapons would also advance in the future even though those same founding fathers saw all types of weapon advancements in their time. Not to mention those founding fathers also allowed people to own cannons and war ships...

  2.  @YuSoNoZ  Uhh yes body shredding military weapons... That's EXACTLY what the amendment was for. For civilians to have the same weapons as the military so they could fight them easier. They let civilians of that time have literal warships FULL of cannons. Like what good is a weapon that doesn't shred the body... That's all weapons even knives. What good is an ineffective weapon.

  4. What you are referring to is an army not a militia. The right to bear arms applys to all americans. It did not specify hunting. So yes it is constitutionally protected. Self defence is a given. In an age where people literally dueld with guns for honor reasons.

  9. That number of gun deaths is irrelevant to the number of lives guns save per year which is in the millions. Most of those deaths are suisid so they were gonna die anyway. And a lot of the rest of those deaths are warranted shooting or criminals.

  11. ​ @hanswurst2765  Those countries have less crime in general but the violent crime stats before and after their gun confiscations like in Australia didn't do anything. There are just as many killings in Australia before and after gun confiscation. It's like that for all countries.

  12. The government is supposed to fear its people. Not the other way around. Thus why we have guns and remain independent instead of other countries that cater to oppression and tyranny. Safety nets are a scam that is left over from when the government made it harder to get ahead in the coon the country. They actively interfer with the process of a free market. There is supposed to be failure to incentivize people to make careful decisions. Not just do what ever the fuck they want and expect no consequences.

  22.  @speedracertv4934  Its not a war crime to eliminate enemy general in conflict zones, if so obama would be in jail by now with how many more drone strikes he ordered over trump. Not to mention Afghanistan. And vietnams army was not the problem, the army was easy to fight, it was the gorilla insurgency that beat the the US military, just like how it would be if they tried that shit in America and Afghanistan .

The homicide rate was droping around the world at the same rate. the gun ban had nothing to do with that. Guns arent the cause of crime, people are. What are you a 12 year old? using "cope" .

  25.  @psychomd1939  It didn't specify for what a gun is exclusively used for this it can be used for anything legal the wielder requires. The constitution recognizes natural God given human rights. It is not what grants those rights. You totalitarian types are so quick to take away the rights of others. It was made specifically for you. We can see why.

  27.  @johnburns4017  A militia is anyone in the citizenry who can fight. Making EVERYONE part of the militia. For the purpose of keeping a "free state". Thus it lets the people aka the militia keep and bear their arms. It is never specified when thus that means whenever said people want.
