He doesn't have to like homosexuals. He is tolerant towards them and that is perfectly fine. Not everyone has to be accepting of everything tolerance does not equal acceptance. As long as people aren't going out and hurting each other for things like this everything will be ok. Not everyone has to like everything everyone else does.

because gay and trans people make attempts to force the rest of society to conform to them.

@Nimish204 yes
1
but... ben said he didint want to do that, But also marriage isnt exactly a right, since it forces other people to preform all kinds of ceremony's that they might not want to participate in.
1
Well kind of, more so when a straight person has sex with random people without getting married first. But when it is within the confines of marriage that's when it becomes acceptable biblically.
1
Well when it comes to his interaction with the rest of society he stays secular, but when it comes to his personally life he abides by his beliefs which is more than I can say for most people who are COMPLETE hypocrites and don't stick to their beliefs even in their private lives.
1
@seanandrew4649 Well yes that's fine, his personal beliefs can be influenced by anything he wants but that doesn't mean he is trying to influence other people using the bible . He uses basic reasoning and logic to try and influence others. Not the bible so its more or less irrelevant what drives him to so so.
1
@seanandrew4649 You are mistakenly conflating his personal reasoning for believing certain things with how he chooses to present his beliefs to others. Why he believes what he does is irrelevant as long as he can rationally justify it to those outside his faith. As long as something can be rationally justified to others that will that matters.
1
@seanandrew4649 Except only one of those things matters in the context of trying to rationalize your point of view to others. Yet again a persons individual reasons for believing something is irreverent as long as what they are arguing is verifiable beyond their personal beliefs that is the only thing that matters in regards to others. Why would ben change his opinion when no one can bring up any valid arguments against him while he can bring valid arguments against them. Ben has shown more reason and logic than really anyone that has debated him besides 1 person.
1
@seanandrew4649 Well yes since he was referring to when marriage WAS a religious ceremony related to procreation, but now it isn't. Simple as that. If he believes that it would do society more good for marriage to return the way it was then he justifies it with family structures which does turn out some evidence. So again no, he is not against gay marriage just because the bible tells him to be.
1
@seanandrew4649 No it is in no way disproven that the nuclear family is the best option for child rearing. If anything it has been proven as fact considering how much worse a child is likely to do in life with a single parent house hold. And sure if your using the metric of gay parents not being able to have children accidently they MIGHT come out better statistically but when you account for straight parents that don't have a child by accident as well then the child belonging to the gay couple does fall slightly behind statistically. I think you may just have an over zealous dislike for those who believe in religion maybe ? To borrow a line of reasoning, if it's not hurting anyone why do you care ?
1
@sub-zero710 Its fine to have some illogical personals beliefs as long as you are trying to force those beliefs on others, something ben sticks to. He doesn't care if someone is religious or not thus he argues from a secular perspective. Unless someone wants to debate him on religion like joe rogan did here.
1
@seanandrew4649 All of these are still comparing all straight parents to all gay parents, which like I said isn't how this works since like you said gay parents cant naturally have their own children thus don't fall into accidentally pregnancies. So again you would have to find the study that compares gay parents with straight parents that purposefully had their kids. Its basic per capita vs total statistical analysis.
1
@seanandrew4649 I cant just believe every flawed biased study i'm sent dude... And besides I already said they are over all pretty similar.
1
That is if homosexuality is even genetic in the first place.

An obligation is not the same thing as being forced to do something. Biologically speaking mammals are obligated to procreate to continue their species, not all of them will though, and not all of them have to.
1
@eyewonder6448 doesn't really matter what it sounds like. What matters is the definition .
1
@eyewonder6448 ? You realize its democrats that compltly forgo context when they talk about what others have said right ? Republicans don't do that, hell the only thing they care about is context which is disappointing because if the right started using the same tactics as the left it would be in a much better state.
