  22. Conservatives want less crime in general, if police do that so be it. Of course it would be nice if everyone just magically stopped committing all crime's but that won't ever happen. Most conservatives don't want a nation registry for fire arms. Yes college's do fall to a more liberal side on top of them not being as necessary in modern culture for a person to succeed in life.

It is demonstrably true that generally the more police that are in an area the less crime their is AND the the less people get away with already committed crimes. Again no a majority of conservatives don't like a nation registry for fire arms, it's a horrible idea since if a time comes when something happens with the government where they want to confiscate guns from citizens they now have a list of everyone who has a fire arm and can now very easily find and revoke said person ability to defend themselves, the less government intervention the better. Any kind of bias in an institution meant for learning is incredible dangerous to our society, How would you like it if college's were conservative sided, i'm guessing you wouldn't. I didn't say that it was just conservatives that don't need college to be successful as much, I meant in general the need for college degrees has been decreasing especially since there are certain degrees which are practically useless in the real worlds like women's studies or gender studies.

Conservatives don't just out right despise all sort of government authority at all, but they do prefer the government to stay out of peoples personal lives and buisness. Not all authority is tyranny. As long as the government is maintaining order and safety that's good enough mostly.
