That's quite a choice to make for adults, and an impossible choice for minors who haven't had their puberty yet and hardly know any sexual joy without matured genitals and natural hormonal development.

  5. Google has not been a search engine for a very long time. A search engine is something you can operate to search what you are or might be looking for. Google is a result generator, it's not the result of your search but the result of your profile together with a search word and you can't operate the engine because it's working is a complete mystery. In the good old days of internet we had search engines. You could operate them by adding different words, plus, minus, quotation marks and you would get different results. There was even Dog Pile that let you operate several search engines at the same time, all coming up with different results because of different methods. I've used several different result generators the past decade, Google, DDG, Brave, but they don't search for me. I know because they didn't produce pages I knew to exist.

  6.  @khairt1731  It's not medically recommended in the civilized world and it's safe in the sense of 'only 1 in 3000 will be mutilated by something going wrong'. Doctors have tendency to ignore small risks like that, I have no idea about the real numbers, because those are indeed irrelevanat in most of their work, the necessary treatments. For unneccessary treatmans the bar should be set much higher.

He points out the problem with international criminal law, a lot of things governments tend to do are deemed a punishable crime, but only the enemies of the countries funding the criminal courts get prosecuted. Especially for African leaders this is a great risk, so they do what the criminal court was designed for and stay friends with the USA and the UK etc.

  12. Having to stand trial is a bit of an exaggeration. It's a Dutch civil case so omni pecuniaria sunt, and there is not such a thing as punitive damages, it's mostly exchanging papers and there is no obligation to show up himself. It's importance might be in what we learn from the case and his lawyers defence, but even if the claim gets fully rewarded it won't significantly hurt him financially.

They have to build Jeff Bezos his yacht too, and have ASML, Philips, Shell, Akzo/Nobel, DSM, the biggest port in Europe etc too, so farming isn't really that big a part of the economy, 1.5% if I remember correctly. But a lot of land was created for farming and the last time it was to become food independent and not have a repeat of the 1945 famine. After the German occupation people were even encouraged financially to emigrate to shrink the population to a feedable size. Now farmland has to be expropriated to make room for even more mass immigration. But 'restoring nature' would indeed mean giving half of the coutnry back to the North Sea. There is practically no wild nature left, that has gone centuries ago. The country is hydro-engineering project that has nature like a garden has nature. Ironically lots of those nature area's were created by farmers quite recently. Otoh, change is needed. We have little space for lots of people and producing porc for China is not the most sensible use of scarce land. But that not an excuse to use nitrogen for expropriation, for government to get the land cheap. Because as soon as government owns the land and permits itself to use it for housing, the price per square meter goes op 30 times or something that order of magnitude.

  15. We have had that here in the Netherlands for years: people not agreeing with government only have feelings, they aren't capable of reason and analysis. Especially Americans also seem under the impression that GDP is a useful indicator and that the stock market is important for the economy.

But climate change is not urgent enough to hinder globalization of course. That's why air travel was left out of the Paris agreement like it doesn't count.

If you host such a tournament, you have to accept that not everyone has the same standards as the American culture of prudes that still manage to sexualize everything. People who are not prudes are able to and did desexualize the buttocks in many circumstances. Male an female soccer players and trainers are petting or slapping eachothers buttocks all the time. Together with lots of similar cases in other countries the defences and the proof they produce will mount to an interesting body of information on the covid happenings.

There is also a parliamentary hearing onder oath prepared, but Gates friend and former PM of the NL Rutte is now NATO SG so enjoys diplomatic immunity, as well as his partner in crime Kaag who has a job for the UN in/near Gaza.

Often nature that was created by farmers, but almost all nature in the Netherlands is man made because the country mostly is. Together with dodgy models and trivial norms, the norms in Germany are over a 100 times that of the DUtch, it's used to expropriate farmland for housing, housing for foreigners that is. About 300.000 are coming in each year on a 15 million (Dutch citizenship) population, while there is already a housing shortage of 1 million, teacher shortage, careworkers shortage, water shortage, electrical grid shortage, social cohesion shortage etc. It's a bad and fraudulent excuse for the plan to turn the Netherlands into a city state without any national identity.

Passing as the opposite sex is the most important thing in life. Of course it is for a confused teen, for teens looks are far more important than for older people, who will turn down the light in the bedroom more nad more anyway, who care much more for great working genitals. Especially when those teens have not been in love yet, haven't had sex yet, and their urge to do so is diminished by drugs and/or hormones. How could they ever make a conscious decision that looks are more important than natural sexual function if they haven't been allowed to experience or even look forward to normal sexual function?

They don't do it for the same reason women's sports has such a lower level even outside the biological limitations, even the small part of women that like competitive sport are not competitive, aggressive enough to stand up to this BS. They need the men to complain about this mostly, women ar not the most outspoken on this subject. The women who don't understand sports but have a lot of opinions often claim women could beat men. Just like the women of the WNBA and women's football they are beggars and moaners, they demand the men to get them things, money, stadiums, in Europe even club names and the sacred shirts, an achievement to be allowed to wear them for men. They don't take their women's competition back, they don't fight for it, they don't make their competition, because they expect the men to give them those things like they gave them these sports and facilities. This might sound mysogynistic and that's because I'm so disappointed in women lately it makes me mad.

  50. @Mickael Dintimille I agree but France has a particularly strong central state, especially the president with his power to circumvent parliament, especially in a case of emergency he can declare. I studied several constitutions long ago and I had to check France's to make sure it was real. It also has an exceptionally strong grip on the media, allthough that got better in the 80's and seems to have no active public opinion in the sense that it influences policy directly and not through strikes and violent protests. Traditionally, I am afraid it has changed recently, Dutch government starts backing off before it comes to large protests and riots.
