  2.  @crazydinosaur8945  They didn't of course. They only saved 7000, that's very little compared to other occupied countries, and it was easy with neighbouring country to go to and help from the inside.

  3. Nonsense. About a quarter survived and that includes the refugees from Germany. It's a great Danish story because of the mostly happy ending, but the Dutch resistance would have laughed at such a challenge, only 7000 people, mostly in one night, relatively little danger, help from the inside, Wehrmacht instead of SS probably. Try saving 100.000 Dutch jews and 30.000 German jews with no bordering country where they could go. You have to hide them, feed them (with food stamps), for 4 years, get them false ID's of the highest quality, dye their hair, cover up their accent.
