That isn't a fact, that's fiction. It comes a modest 5th in the Atlantic slave trade and is far behind most African and Asian counties too. The Netherlands was the biggest trader in the world for two centuries, but that was mainly European trade wich they dominated. The irony is that the Americans lecture the Dutch about their long gone past, and apart from the historical ignorance, their current neocolonial empire is not any better, any more virtuous, than the Dutch trade empire of the past.

@queen84sasha No, I don't even know what you're talking about with US Freeport. Besides the general ignorance on Dutch history we now have all these reporters, YTers and historians who want to show what good person they are by being outraged over things that happened hundreds of years ago, while closing their eyes for what has been done in the past 70 years, after human rights were actually introduced. Any Dutch has every right to confront the Americans on their recent, mass murdering, torturing, human rights violating recent history. Soki Moh appearently thinks in terms of ethnicity and not of time, ignores the progress humanity has supposedly made (for a big part thanks to the Dutch btw). That's quite common with people who don't make progress themselves.
