The British cultural trait of appropriation is not helpful spreading the message, it's always coming down the Brits as some special breed everything came from, almost an idea of British supremacy by DNA. Not true. Liberty, capitalism, upward social mobility, the nuclear family home, freedom religion and thought and even democratic institutions and industrialization (not to be confused with the industrial revolution) came from the Low Lands in general and the Dutch Republic in particular. From there it was brought to Britain and North-America. The English weren't protestants of the protesting kind, they were declared protestant by their king. That didn't come from reading the bible like in many places on the continent. Nations boom and bloom or fall behind and learn from other nations and pass them. If you want to promote that nations all over the world can learn from the West and advance and even go past them you should not falsely portray it as all coming from Britain out of some anglocentric self-aggrandization.

@howlsatdesertmoon9840 No, not really. What I think is happening is that it's mostly American ideology and therefore the Spanish and Portuguese enjoy protected status as victims, and it all comes down on the less dark haired Northern European protestants, from which the British were the biggest and most influential colonial power of course. Discourse between France and it's accusers is mostly in French, because the former colonies still speak French and the language is somewhat of a barrier to American ideology.

I'm not saying the trans movement is anti-gay by intention, but am I the only one who sees an old fashioned Anglo-Saxon prudeness in it? Where circumcision just reduces sexual joy a bit and makes masturbation harder, this trans ideology has a far bigger contempt for the sexual joy healthy genitals can bring after uninterrupted hormonal development. They claim it's better for the boy to have never experienced that an never experience that again, because looking more feminine, better fitting into very binary pigeon holes, is more important than enjoying sex. They decide so for a boy who can't give informed consent because he needs to go through puberty to be informed what he will miss. We'll just construct something that does a rather mechanical imitation, and that has the having sex covered. Is there no one in that industry or movement sexually liberated enough to say 'isn't that a shame to not have a healthy natural penis with all it's sensitivity'?

Western civilization's past is now judged by the values it brought to the whole world.
