  1. Central Europe was behind the iron curtain in the 80s. There were no Slowakian or Hungarian immigrants in the Netherlands.

  2.  @mr.cogito7167  There might have been cracks in the iron curtain in the late eighties, the Austrians were the only central Europeans that could travel freely. The others needed special permission from the communist party. We had Hungarians and the odd Czechoslowakian, but those were refugees from 55 and 67.

  5. It has nothing to do with race and everything with culture. If that culture does not only produce crime but also welfare dependency and doing poor in education and work, that is not an excuse.

  6. So? The Moroccans raided the coasts of Europe for sex slaves and ships for male slaves. They were far bigger slave traders than the Dutch anyway, just like almost any nation. They enslaved about 30.000 Dutch, we have no historical obligation towards the Moroccans whatsoever.

  7. The catholic's, whose church wanted to kill all protestants and was at war with the Dutch, were allowed to be catholic, get rich and worship in private. That was really nice.

  9. Freedom of religion and islam are not compatible. Muslims want to apply their religious rules like not drawing the prophet or treating every copy of the Quran with respect to everyone, that is an attack on other people's freedom of religion.

  10. No not really. The future pm was murdered, Rutte has been lying about mass immigration for a decade, there is a power grab by the EU the Dutch voted against and the judges are overstretching laws to keep as much immigrants in as they can.
