  1. A head scarf is not ethnic. It's not about muslimas in the police, it's about muslimas who feel they have to show their religion on the job. Showing it by a head scarf that appears to imply that women who don't wear one are just sluts who can be treated as such, because that's how many muslim men act towards women without one. So these women are part of the oppression. That makes them unfit for a job with the police.
