  1. We have excellent tap water in NL and I believe bottled water is only wasteful and adds nothing. Tap water isn't free though, it has to be chilled, served in a cleaned glass by a paid employee. The problem is more that restaurants feel embarassed to ask the money it costs and therefore prefer to serve bottled water.
