It's a Mercedes W108, probably a 280 SE. Sweden has a relatively huge American car subculture, but also lots of Volvos and Saabs of course. Appearently they have less of a rust problem with old cars over there because of the cold winters. Saab would be interesting to check out, it's engineers were a bit like Citroen's, 'we just know better'. Two-strokes, V4's, the first turbo, lots of safety features, simply different from all others.

@KristoferOlsson Of course, what was I thinking? I saw only the thumbnail yesterday, wondering whether it was the 6.3, which is still raced sometimes. Then I watched this video and heard a straight 6, defenitely not a V8, and drew my conclusions without even taking a proper look.

@Kent. Still lots of people try to buy their oldtimer from Sweden for rust reasons, so it's probably worse in other places.

Or a Caterham version of the Lotus 7, those are much less rare.

@KristoferOlsson I didn't look in the result list. IWrocker suggested in the video this was a Caterham, and he wasn't far off, because most 7's around are Caterhams and not the original Lotus.
