  2. Dacia basically adopted the 70's idea of not investing in new technology, but use the good technology of the past decade because it only improves little and you get more value for money that way.

  3. I went behind the iron curtain in the Soviet era, and I was amazed how good looking the 70's Skoda coupe, the 110R, was. They lost that in the 80's but the Czechs kept doing styling well under communism. Also the Tatra's.

  4. Don't forget the Fiat Panda is a really tiny car. The first series (80's) was 700 kg car, the second and third series (2000's) was a 900kg car. It's a cute little thing with an SUV stance, it's not the size of car Americans tend to transport families in with all those huge trucks around them.
