Lots of Americans would never be seen in a bus either, but in Europe they feel underdressed in one. It's all very relative, cars feel less small when they are not among trucks and huge SUV's. Nontheless, this video shows some very shitty European cars. The DAF is actually quite interesting technically, because it was the invention of the CVT allowing for an automatic small car that was reasonably quick and very efficient in it's day. It also allowed for backward racing because it could as fast backward as forward. I'm one the few that liked the Austin Allegro's design, or at least has a soft spot for it. It was not a good car though. The DeLoreans should be converted to electric, it had never much of engine and was too heavy for a sportscar anyway. With it's stainless steel body, it would also have the environmental impact advantage of being durable.
