  1. I do agree the Mona Lisa is far too small for it's popularity. I am quite tall so I could look over all the other visitors but decided not to try to get close enough to actually try to enjoy it. Especially not in a museum with so much art that I didn't know yet.

  2.  @automation7295  This is not about the quality of the painting, but the quality of the experience of seeing it in person. It's just too busy there, huge paintings can give far bigger crowds a good art experience.
