  1. The model shown was a 2 wheel drive. Would also not have been very muscle car, a 4wd with ABS in the early 70's.

  2. Not taken offense at all: the Aston Martin Vantage was unapologetic as a muscle car. It was built to show Ferrari and Lamborghini what you could do with a 'big' V8 in front in a relatively heavy car and it did, it was faster in a straight line. It had AM's own legendary quadcam V8 of just over 5 litre. I think the British like to call it British Muscle and that's only fair but also quite a compliment to the American muscle car, especially in the late 70's and 80's.
