  1. It's more like the Southern Europe taking Dutch money for years, through capo Draghi's QE among others, but now wants more and it has to be wrapped as a present. The richer than the Dutch North-Italians are demanding solidarity from the Dutch with the poor South-Italians they never managed themselves. Dutch people have to work to 67 to pay for the French keeping retiring at 61. The Poles that aren't by far hit as hard as the Dutch by corona have to get money out of a recovering Dutch economy too. If the Italians need cash they might try taxing their rich people, or sell some of their massive gold reserve.

  4.  @phaidros100  China is totalitarian, Russia to a much lesser degree but still, and the EU and Canada are moving towards totalitariansim quickly. It's not like we are democratic just because our leaders say so. Censored speech, compelled speech, newspeak, mass surveillance, elections cancelled, opposition members harassed and arrested, political prosecution and political non prosecution, entanglement of government and corporations, debanking, state control over your body and your money, war mongering and calling pacifists traitors. We are almost there.
