  2. Let's not sugarcoat it - at moment, and in Pauline doctrine, Christianity can certainly cross the LINE into a cult, fairly easily.... with specialised terminology (and still hotly contested within the faith) being just one sign, as well as isolating/splitting off...

  8. Very different times? Then shouldn't they say they are done, and no longer relevant, under new dispensation? Otherwise, won';t that lead to confusion, as in Medieval times? And of gay people, I also see that verse quoted LITERALLY to suggest shunning them, even to parents... (attend?)
