  1. We should build 4-5 story European 1800s city blocks again. The architecture peaked during the late 1800s, early 1900s. I think living in an environment with beautiful buildings actually makes you feel happier.

  3. Cities like Hong Kong with skyscrapers literally built next to them are basically restricted from getting sun light. 6 stories closed building blocks are the best for liveability and are also much cheaper than skyscrapers.

  4.  @32123ABCBA  Sure but a whole city full of glass skyscrapers or even multiple next to each other is horrendous. At least in my opinion.

  6.  @32123ABCBA  Art deco is nice, modern can be nice too but there are many different forms of modern architecture too. The glass, no decorations, concrete materials modern architecture and brutalism is a crime against humanity.

  7.  @32123ABCBA  I wanted to be an architect too but I’m studying Civil engineering now in The Netherlands. So maybe I’ll end up working on designing buildings after all. But if I do I want to chance our architecture a bit back again because the last 80 years very ugly buildings have been built, luckily you can see the architectural styles slowly chancing towards older ones again here in Europe. Using bricks or natural stone.

  8. Not true US did have lots of historic buildings 1800s early 1900s architecture, but they destroyed a lot in the 1960s and 70s. For parking lots, offices and highways.
