Netherlands has lots of beautiful old towns and villages. Like Maastricht, Dordrecht, Gouda, Zwolle, Breda, Amersfoort, and Zutphen. And many more actually.

@emeraldsroses0524 Ah, Brielle. Yes it’s nice too but the ones I mentioned above I think are better and they’re bigger too. But like I said you’ve got many more beautiful old towns in The Netherlands that includes Brielle too 😉 Zierikzee is also one I really liked.

@TheDotBot Hannover was unfortunately bombed in WW2 so it’s not really that pretty now I think… And mate are you serious Slough haha I looked it up and it was mocked in those poems right ?

@TheDotBot That’s quite some time ago man. City has changed a lot I think. More car free zones like in every Dutch city. As for the rudeness I don’t have an explanation I’m not from Dordrecht myself but from Rotterdam maybe you caught them on a bad day haha. But last time I was there I enjoyed it, I agree that there isn’t anything really special to do but it’s nice to walk around and enjoy the old architecture. Had a nice beer on of the squares and afterwards a really good pizza in a 500 year old building. One thing I can definitely say is that there are some good restaurants there.

@TheDotBot Without really knowing what to visit you can end up in really boring parts I can imagine but if you had a map or used google maps which wasn’t around back then, I’m sure you would have enjoyed it. Dordrecht is although it’s quite small a bit mazy.

@danai4117 Experience a more realistic Dutch city life instead of the touristy Amsterdam. And some different architecture. Maybe it’s cheaper. And this is like saying what am I supposed to do in Nice when I can visit Genua etc. What am I supposed to do in Valencia when I can visit Barcelona.

@TheDotBot No and rightfully so if you’re comparing a depressing, car centered, basically suburb as Slough to a medieval town with cozy squares and small streets. And Hannover is just fcking ugly. Have you ever even visited Dordrecht ?
