I hope the current EU leaders back off with the idea of creating a political union, I’m quite unhappy with the developments in the EU at the moment. Regarding the covid approach for example, covid passports and digital id’s isn’t something which belongs in a free democratic European society. It would be something for China but not here. And the EU doesn’t seem to see the risks of keeping the borders open. I think the EU needs to take a step back to an economic and trade union whilst creating a mutual military alliance. A united states version of Europe isn’t something which I think would work and would be beneficiary. Too much governance from one central place isn’t effective. And with a military alliance and mutual funds for large military investments like carriers and the development of new technologies we would already come a long way. Furthermore I think we need to start relocating crucial production from countries like China back to our mainland.

I feel Dutch but ofcourse European too. But for the EU project to get my support they need to have a plan to combat mass migration to us. Otherwise our cultures will slowly vanish. And a super state should never be established. National identities and governments should be kept. But cooperation on big themes, like space, energy, large industries and infrastructure is a good idea.

@macanaeh We’d love to welcome you ! Before the communist revolution many European countries actually were close to Russia.

@PikaPluff Because I personally feel the consequences of illegal immigration

@fabriziobrown4454 But that could happen without the EU becoming a political union, and I’m quite unhappy with the developments in the EU at the moment. Many of those who immigrated from Indonesia are Dutch who some time before immigrated to Indonesia and thus went back again. And with the guest workers, the government wanted them to go back, but they wanted to stay so that’s why there wasn’t any plan to integrate them. Now it should be stopped for quite some time at least. Too many migrants in a short period of time is bad.

Europeans actually do ‘fear’ China.

Stop immigration. Increase birth rates

Just saying this doesn’t do anything about it

First of all lots of migrants from certain countries actually are a net cost to the economy. Second of all there’s loads of youth unemployment in Spain and Italy so why don’t we use those ? I can’t wrap my head around it

Illegal migrants should be prohibited from entering Europe. Real war refugees we can help but illegal migrants coming here without a plan or a will to adapt to our values don't belong here.

That’s why Europe needs to go nuclear
