  1. Zwarte piet isn’t the same as Blackface. I never made the comparison with a black person when I was young. Americans acting as if they’re the good guys everywhere and know everything better is getting really annoying sometimes. But if people are really that offended by it then I won’t hold back against change but it seems like before all the commotion actually almost no one seemed to be offended by it.

  2. But isn’t it true variants develop weaker symptoms over time ? I mean look at the Spanish flu, we didn’t have a vaccine for that and it somewhat dissappeared/ got weaker over time.
