  2.  @EdNashsMilitaryMatters  l've just been watching a number of video's on Westland 's Factory in the mid 30's Wessex , Wapiti and Lysander. Then a couple on another "failure" the Whirlwind which had it's future decided by Rolls Royce. Faster than the Spitfire in it's time . Yes, l'll have a look . Thankyou .

  3. Hi Ed. Didn't recognize the name Wendover ( not Bendover !) But certainly recognized the aircraft ! I think the ministry would have to constantly change their plans as the war progressed . Thanks . Think the jury is out regarding the exuberant display . I think the film speed may have something to do with it ?
