  1. This illustrates how pathetic and pointless war is. Nobody wins and the complete and utter waste of life and probably trillions of pounds both countries have wasted over the many years of conflict. This definitely wasn't on my radar. Ed . I get the impression that you were a serving soldier . Does the title of your book have a deep knowledgeable meaning? Your knowledge of military history is widespread where as mine is more or less limited to World War 2 and immediately post war Aircraft .
