I find this hilarious, and the fact that farmers and landowners will suffer from cut price ports and labour shortages even better. They tend to be amongst the most racist and biggotted people in the land so seeing them froth at the mouth will be fantastic..

TBH train travel is the preserve of the elite nowadays so it's pretty academic. Most peoples train services are not much better in the S/E anyway, Thameslink was a pathetic joke, and as an example, Ipswich to Cambridge/Peterborough is all still slow DMU's.... Plus everything is rammed full of people even to try to get to London, let alone anywhere else... Road's no better... East Anglia has three roads, M/A11, A12, A14.... All are mostly paralysed with traffic... If you make it to the A13,A127 and M25, then you may as well take a picnic as they are at a standstill or closed due to accidents most days. It's no utopia down here

N/S Wage inequality had reduced considerally since 1979 according to a Resolution Foundation, and many initiatives had been implemented to provide decent employment in the N since Thatcher wrecked everything, as well as the north and Wales receiving disproportianate amounts of EU funding. Cost of living has always been higher in the S/E during my lifetime with sky high property, food and service prices due to London white flight. Suffolk as an example had a brief boost from london overspill in the sixties and seventies, then all those companies left during the years since Thatcher... Improved road links have now seen even more London commuters and second home owners pushing up property prices, pretty much since the M11 opened. Wages are now seriously depressed for those that try to work locally.

The unfortuanete audience member in the video was a lady called 'Jo Marsh if I can rember it correctly...   102.  @jiversteve  tbh, UK farmers are not the only people who I imagine hate me..I have working class roots, am employed, work in an industry that has become dependent on labour, materials and equipment from Europe, and have a daughter who was working in-between the UK and Spain,.and I live in East Anglia in the south of England so all around I am just about the 'enemy of the people' as far as the electorate and the media are concerned. Lol, anyway, I don't want to sound like I'm having some kind of persecution breakdown here, but I really couldn't care less about anything that happens in the UK anymore.. since thatcher, it's been pretty clear that this country is not the one I was born into.. my big regret now is that I never did more to get out of the UK when I had a better chance..

I kind of got stuck here looking after parent I suppose, and then I suppose I was always hoping for a better turn of events in the UK.. lol,.but I think that is impossible now, certainly in my lifetime.. I do feel sorry.for my daughter tho as the last few years have wiped out her career plans and she has just been bumbling about.. she's deperate to get to Ibiza or possibly mainland Spain as she was working seasonally in Ibiza. No idea how she will manage it now tho so she is a little despondent.. my son would like to get out as well but it shouldn't be too much of a problem for him as he's a pretty highly qualified HV engineer and young enough to make him a pretty attractive option to quite a few places.. I think he is considering his options ATM..

I havnt really looked into it myself but I'm presuming that she will probably need some kind of contract of employment to get some sort of working visa.. she has got quite a few Spanish and ibicencos friends and associates with businesses so I think she is hoping that this will be her angle when the pandemic calms down.. in the meantime.she has been working to get a few qualifications unde her belt as she really wants to work as a skipper if she can.. I've got family in NZ but I'm too old and broke to get any sort of citizenship there.. my.son is def considering it tho, and he would probably stand a reasonable chance.. anyway.. enjoy Spain and take care..

A peaceful vigil was hijacked by actors in the same way that most London demonstrations are hijacked by the same group of anti UK nere do wells. The protesters at the vigil were played, and the police response was what was being aimed for. Did you watch the video? It's quite a few videos down his list now and is called 'how anti lockdown narcissists accelerated a silent vigil into a violent protest' or something like that. Anyway, if you only want to talk about misogyny, then you have to consider the nature v nurture thing.. do you think male babies are naturally misogynistic? If not, then where do they learn it?
