  22.  @theBallisticMystic  Well, before I entered the military, I believed that soldiers were actually doing something very productive for the security of the country. That they were training, practising useful things that would increase the chances of both protecting the country (which is the so to say the duty of a soldier) and their survival in case of war. Many people look down on them because often they cause trouble. Let me explain. In places where military camps are stationed, a soldier is granted an exit for a certain amount of hours per week or per month (in rare cases twice a week). This depends on how many soldiers are available in every camp, so that they can complete certain tasks which are useless. Like staying at watchtowers and watch if anything suspicious happens, while at the same time, having cameras that can do exactly this job. Whatever, the thing is, that because the service is mandatory, and many officers of higher rank are really old minded, mental abuse can be quite often in the camps. And once they get their exit (the soldiers), they blow steam off in a way that causes trouble to citizens, get drunk, sometimes they get into fights with other men, for women. Keep in mind that almost all men lose their girlfriends when entering the army. Also every 3 months, new recruits are coming in. That means that the previous recruits are now considered more experienced, and bully the new recruits also to blow steam off. But they themselves were 3 months earlier the victims of this bullying. And instead of understanding this problem, and stop it, they spread it aswell to the next recruits. That makes me look down on them the most. Of course that doesn't include every soldier. Some of them are amazing people. But still there are a lot of them doing this malpractice. And this is the same for higher ranked military men. If you are unlucky, you can end up with some very old minded people, and they are happy to abuse you with their power and authority and privilege because of their higher rank.

  81.  @shimisun3555  Your comment shows that you're ignorant. Nr 1 example, the US mass media hate their government and does everything in it's power to defame President Trump. Almost no western government cares about it's country's development. They are all traitors and daily make new laws to make their people's lives worse and to destroy their countries. They are all bribed by big companies, lobbyists and communists. When it comes to China, you can only walk safely outside as long as you kiss the CCP's ass. Once you go against their authoritarian will, they will find you no matter where. Your government doesn't give a ** about your wellbeing. If it cared, it wouldn't create a dystopian technocratic environment where it completely monitors all your actions. Especially now where it wants to establish the social credit system which rewards citizens for snitching on each other's ''wrongdoings'' like passing the street with a red light while no car is passing and then getting your rewards. They push down your throats a system that rewards citizens for making their co-citizens life a nightmare. Camaraderie is completely wiped out. And if you don't get good citizen credit, you get lockdowned, you aren't allowed external or domestic tourism, you have to pay higher taxes, you're being put into even harder watchlist and maybe interrogation and other things. The facade of a freedom you believe your country offers you, will sooner or later fade for you as well. The only ones who understood that where the people of HK, and you saw what happened to them.
