That everyone deserves a second chance if they truly regret and make up for it. Not that it would be likely for a sex offender to regret. And I agree that non of the victims should/would be asked to forgive the aggressor. Edit: I'm sorry you had to experience something like that. I hope you managed to overcome it to a degree and heal.
