@Fuckpeople999 Could be both. I believe they have some very deep rooted stereotypes against women that will take centuries to change. I believe Christianity was like that too for centuries until it got modernized in a sense

@abrarmohamed5247 I have read it. The entire thing. Like in every religion, it can be interpreted in a thousand different ways. So it doesn't really matter. What matters are the actions. They speak louder than words and unfortunately in these Islamic societies you can see by action how women are treated

It's more complicated than this. These people (if this is in Cyprus) are illegal immigrants. It's official national policy to not interact or enforce the law against them because of political agendas. Even if they rape someone, they are let out free the next day on grounds of difference in religious freedom and cultural differences. Besides that Turkey and other NGOs or woke movements could easily blame the state of being racist, xenophobic and do racial profiling
