I’ve dealt with shady people being a shady person myself while in Mexico for shady dealings in hoods less shady than I’ve been in on the U.S. side of things and I’ve never had a problem. I dunno. If you’re scared, go to church. Now that being said, I have two good friends that run businesses in the states and they’re here because they were getting extorted down there. Now that being said, one of them is building a house down there piece by piece and my other friend said she’d never go back. So I mean, as with everything, it’s luck of the draw. One could argue that prices in the US are a different form of extortion hahahaha
