  27. My roommate locked himself in his room for a week to get off the fuckin shit. Our friend who was a nurse came over to check on him regularly. I was out in the living room and I picked up his book. Read it straight through. It’s been over 10 years or so but I loved it and still think of it fondly. Probably could reread it. It was great. Glad I never touched the stuff but my Xanax mixed with alcohol was uhhhh a great/bad/disastrous time.
